What we're looking for


We are looking for a Treasury and Revenue Recognition Lead to join the Accounting Team and collaborate with revenue analysis and forecasting, with supporting documentation, account reconciliations, and ad-hoc reports.


This role is responsible for facilitating and processing customer payments, reviewing financial account information, and working closely with the CX team to manage disputes and resolve payment issues.


You will pay great attention to detail, possess a high degree of analytical and problem-solving skills as well as work effectively cross-functionally in a rapidly changing environment.


The role reports directly to the Senior Accounting Manager and it's a full-time hire.


Responsibilities



  • Manage incoming payments

  • Manage disputes

  • Document all business financial transactions 

  • Manage formal reports and company bank statements

  • Ensure the protection of funds from any potential misuse

  • Analysing booking patterns and market trends

  • Monitoring competitor performance

  • Forecasting revenue performance

  • Daily reconciliation of sales and revenues;

  • Partner with customer service to respond disputes at payment processors

  • Assists with special projects as needed including billing, ad hoc revenue reporting, etc.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or Accounting.

  • +4 years of experience in similar roles

  • Excellent organizational skills regarding documentation and file or record-keeping

  • Strong verbal and visual financial reporting skills

  • Exceptional ability to communicate complex financial information

  • Valuable time management and prioritization skills

  • Solid understanding of budget planning and finance

  • Substantial value for ethics and trustworthy operations

  • Experience using different methodical approaches for managing finances
