Reporting to the AP/AR Manager, the Accounts Receivables Team Lead is responsible for producing, maintaining, and analyzing all reports related to accounts receivables activities. This role supports month‑end processes, customer creation, KPI tracking, Passthrough and milestone invoicing knowledge, deposits and collections.

The Team Lead will also be responsible for conducting follow‑ups with customers, requiring strong written and verbal communication skills. In addition, this position oversees the documentation and continuous updates of AR processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.


  • More specifically, the Accounts Receivable Team Lead: Prepare and maintain KPIs for various internal and external stakeholders;
  • Create customer profiles, including taxation information (as per province and or country of origin);
  • Ensure alignment between contract terms, billing, and collections
  • Assign and prioritize Accounts Receivable Team’s workload, ensuring deadlines are consistently met
  • Review team output for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to processes. Collaborate with project financial analyst on project invoicing reconciliation to ensure that all amounts are invoiced and paid ;
  • Coordinate transaction adjustments between AP/AR;
  • Support the Accounts receivable team with replacements during vacations/workload peak, requiring full knowledge of all their tasks within the team;
  • Assist and support the AR team in responding to customers, internal and external stakeholders’ inquiries;
  • Manage the Accounts Receivable team, including setting annual goals, monitoring performance, supporting development, managing leave requests, and assuring appropriate workload planning and coverage
  • Oversee AR aging and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are taken to resolve outstanding payments. Participate and support deposit reconciliations to ensure timely identification and resolution of discrepancies
  • Provide leadership in continuous improvement initiatives within Accounts receivable, contributing to enhancements of tools, systems, and standardized processes;

Increase department productivity and accuracy by developing automated tools, reporting solutions, and best practice documentation. Employee may be assigned to other responsibilities that do not pertain to their former description, if they have the required experience, are qualified and/or have received adequate training.



  • Minimum education of a college degree in a relevant field
  • Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting (B.A.A) an asset;
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in Accounts receivable
  • Prior experience in a supervising or lead role. Strong analytical and problem-solving capacities;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English;
  • Proficiency in ERP systems
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Advanced knowledge and strong proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at the same time
