Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop robust Java-based systems that can scale effectively and fulfill defined product requirements
• Share technical input during architecture reviews to help determine sound approaches for active initiatives
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure product increments are delivered on time and at the expected quality level
• Perform peer code reviews that reinforce maintainability, reliability, and established development conventions
• Troubleshoot challenging issues across the software lifecycle and apply effective corrective actions
• Help early-career developers strengthen their skills through coaching and constructive support
• Take part in delivery planning by contributing effort estimates and identifying relevant project considerations
• Explore changes in the technology landscape and introduce improvements that enhance engineering outcomes
• Capture important technical rationale and development procedures to preserve knowledge within the codebase
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and align solution delivery with intended outcomes

Requirements

• Three or more years of relevant experience developing commercial software
• Applied familiarity with artificial intelligence concepts and tools for improving technical solutions and development methods
• Solid foundation in Java Core and object-oriented programming practices
• Hands-on exposure to Java 8 and its language features
• Experience using Spring Boot to create and maintain server-side applications
• Practical background working with services and resources in Microsoft Azure
• Awareness of Amazon Web Services for deploying and administering cloud-hosted applications
• Experience with CI/CD workflows that automate compilation, testing, and deployment activities
• Working knowledge of SQL for managing and querying relational database systems
• Understanding of microservices patterns for designing independent and scalable application components
• Experience producing and consuming REST APIs for system-to-system communication
• Ability to apply unit testing practices to verify behavior and improve code dependability
• Familiarity with Java-compatible NoSQL databases and their use in application development
• English proficiency at B2 level or above for effective written and spoken collaboration
