Position Overview:

The Permits and Inspections Coordinator is responsible for managing the permitting and inspection processes for various projects. This role requires effective communication with local authorities, clients, and internal teams to ensure that all necessary permits are obtained and inspections are conducted in a timely manner. The coordinator will make outbound calls to various stakeholders within the US to facilitate these processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Permit Management:

  • Prepare and submit permit applications to local authorities.
  • Track the status of permit applications and ensure timely approvals.
  • Maintain detailed records of all permit applications and approvals.

Inspection Coordination:

  • Schedule and coordinate inspections with local authorities and internal teams.
  • Prepare and organize all necessary documentation for inspections.
  • Communicate inspection schedules and requirements to relevant parties.
  • Follow up on inspection results and ensure any required corrective actions are completed.

Outbound Communication:

  • Make outbound calls to local authorities, internal teams, and other stakeholders to facilitate the permitting and inspection processes.
  • Provide updates and information to internal teams regarding the status of permits and inspections.
  • Address any questions or concerns from stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all permits and inspections.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on the status of permits and inspections to management.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Compliance and Regulation:

  • Stay informed about local, state, and federal regulations related to permitting and inspections.
  • Ensure all projects comply with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Communicate any changes in regulations to relevant parties and update processes accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in permit coordination, inspections, or a related role (preferred).
  • Experience making outbound calls and communicating with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software for tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to understand and interpret regulations and technical information.
