Eramine Sudamérica SA is a subsidiary of Eramet, a French global mining and metallurgical group. It is located in the Salar Centenario Ratones, 3,800 meters above sea level, in the department of Los Andes, in Salta, Argentina.

Exploration activities started 12 years ago and at the end of 2019 our pilot plant started operating, providing a demonstration of the quality of the final lithium carbonate product, with more than 90% direct extraction efficiency. 

 

Management Systems Coordinator W/M

 

Description:

The main responsibility of this role is to lead the team of analysts and coordinate the implementation, consolidation, and improvement of ISO management systems (9001, 14001, 45001 and other applicable standards), ensuring cross-functional integration into company operations, regulatory and legal compliance, and proper preparation and defense during internal and external audits.

 

This position reports to: Operational Excellence Superintendent

Location: Centenario–Ratones Project, Salta, Argentina.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute the annual internal audit plan and coordinate external audits.
  • Supervise analysts, ensuring quality and timeliness in document management and preparation of evidence.
  • Serve as the formal representative of the company before external auditors and certification bodies.
  • Monitor and analyze critical KPIs for quality, environment, and safety, reporting directly to the Superintendent.
  • Close audit findings and lead strategic action plans with direct impact on the continuity of certifications.
  • Ensure alignment with current legal regulations, especially in environmental and safety matters.
  • Train and raise awareness among operational and administrative personnel about management systems.
  • Design and implement continuous improvement strategies aimed at optimizing processes, raising standards, and strengthening the culture of quality, safety, and sustainability.
  • Manage operational and compliance risks using structured tools to anticipate deviations that could affect certifications or reputation.
  • Ensure cross-functional integration of management systems across all operational areas, promoting their adoption as part of the organizational culture rather than a bureaucratic requirement.
  • Act as a technical reference in quality management within the QHSSE department, providing specialized support to other areas and participating in strategic decision-making.

 

Profile:

  • University degree, ideally with postgraduate studies in Quality Management, Safety, or related fields.
  • Certification as Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor is highly valued.
  • More than 5 years of experience in mining, oil & gas, or chemical industries, with advanced management of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
  • Experience in implementing Integrated Management Systems and leading internal/external audits.
  • Strong knowledge of legal/regulatory frameworks and digital compliance systems.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate operational and quality risks using inspection and control tools.
  • Intermediate/advanced English for interaction with corporate teams and certification bodies.
  • Strong skills in leadership, communication, negotiation, strategic thinking, and continuous improvement.
