Advanced Software Engineering Manager

We are looking for an Advanced Software Engineering Manager to build a next-generation AI-powered assistant platform that helps investment professionals work faster and make better decisions. You will own end-to-end delivery across backend services and AI features in a high-autonomy environment.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solutions for an AI-powered financial assistant platform from ambiguous problem statements
• Build backend services and APIs in Python using FastAPI with production-grade reliability
• Integrate LLM capabilities to deliver chat, reporting, and bespoke interfaces for investment workflows
• Own system design decisions, evaluate edge cases, and define low-level requirements with stakeholders
• Deploy and iterate quickly based on feedback from sophisticated business users
• Ensure quality through testing strategies, monitoring considerations, and robust error handling
• Collaborate with a small team of hands-on engineers to ship features with minimal process overhead

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong Python development experience (8+ years)
• Hands-on FastAPI experience
• Strong forward deployed engineering experience working closely with business users
• Advanced large language models (LLM) experience and Gen AI assisted development practice
• High autonomy and self-governance skills to drive ambiguous work from concept to delivery
• High quality and reliability mindset with strong engineering rigor
• Advanced English proficiency (C1)
